Wonderful article! Small inaccuracy, though:

He has raised about $8.3 million -- peanuts compared to the $47 million produced by Republican front-runner Rudy Giuliani and the $63 million of former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, who leads Republican polling in New Hampshire.

They don't factor in the other quarters for his total money raised like they obviously did for Rudy and Mitt later in the paragraph.

Go here and send them an e-mail for the correction:

Ron Paul raised 600k in Q1; 2.4 mil in Q2; 5.1 mil in Q3; at 8.3 mil in Q4 so far
That makes 16.4 million total

I think that's only the first three quarters for each of them. Doesn't include this quarter so far.

They also say Huckabee has $3.6M. Isn't that his entire fundraising total too?

I was going to make a topic about this but realized REUTERS IS RIGHT. Ron Paul, in Q1,2,3 raised: 0.6 + 2.4 + 5.2 = 8.3 million.

The article is correct. That's the first 3 quarters. Ron's counter is not on an official FEC report. We don't have Q4 data for Rudy or Mitt so it can't be compared yet.

But this is wrong:

"His fierce anti-war stance, agenda for a smaller government and literal view of the Constitution have attracted many Internet activists, whose grass-roots muscle is lifting him to within reach of a $12 million fund-raising target this year."

It should be "$12 million fund-raising target this quarter". They obviously think that the online counter is for the year, not just this quarter.
