The Iowa caucuses were held four months ago, but today we can declare that the winner appears to be … Ron Paul.

The state convention is in June, this is nominations etc. It is good, and I don't mean to discount it, it allows for a PROJECTION, but it isn't the same as states where the process is completely over.

All the same, I love this running in Texas, Ron's home state and upcoming primary state...

The Chronicle has actually been giving Ron Paul more press lately...although they were jackasses when Perry was still in...in that they had the political blog tied in to Rick Perry's Facebook and they called the blog Perry Presidential as if he was the only one from Texas running. When Perry started showing himself to be the embarrassment that he is, they started backing off and took his name off the blog.

I have a feeling Paul will do better in the Texas primary than we previously anticipated. Paul is FIRST on the ballot. Also, Romney is the presumed nominee, so the herds of Hardliners will likely stay home. Thus, our numbers have a larger impact in the primary.
