Order of Party Business tomorrow is to finish on the Party Platform and Bylaws. Although we are the Majority, changing the laws isnt exactly easy. We arent a Hive Mind. What we do intend on doing is trying to preserve the legitimate methods of a Republic. No more of this BS that we have to vote for those they've told us to vote for. The choice between Coke and Pepsi has been controlled throughout every stage of the election process. This must end. And we are going to end it.

Another strategy could be to go to the convention and disqualify themselves by not voting for Mitt. Do you know if such a disqualification results in the replacement of the delegates or in the numbers dwindling without replacement? Politicians (except RP) constantly trick us, so anyone who tricks these these dirty politicians is doing a good job.

@opinionatedfool. there is no need to unbind them. They are not bound at national, they can abstain or vote ron paul. This memo has already been passed around and it is in rnc rules. state rules cannot override national rules.

It's safer to unbind them in my opinion.

I've also been reading about another rule where the state party chairman can pass during roll call at national if there are a substantial amount of abstentions in their respective state. So get to winning those chairman positions for better years to come!

Considering how popular EpicBroomstick's video is, (42,808 Live Views total on the channel) you'd think the MSM would want a part of this action, strictly from a ratings standpoint. They could have many millions of views if this were broadcast nationwide.

They know the Nevada convention is on, yet not a peep from any of the main channels.

There's got to be enormous pressure from the top to black this out. The pervasive, consistent blackout of Ron Paul's campaign is really the most amazing thing in this year's election. It was similar in 2008, but not to this extent.

How would we know? Romney is challenging everything. I think Ron should challenge North Dakota. We know whose creative interpretation of the rules is going to be touted as the real thing. However, if it comes down to 6 or 8 states having their slates thrown out, Romney might decide that isn't less divisive than having another nomination on the floor.

State Delegation Each delegation are made up of up to three kinds of delegates. Party members, delegates from the congressional districts and delegates from the state at-large. They can either be bound, meaning that they are legally or morally bound to vote for a candidate for at least the first ballot at the National Convention, or they can be unbound, meaning that they are free to vote for any candidate at the National Convention. Some delegates are only morally bound, meaning that they are allocated to a candidate or elected on his ticket but are not legally bound to vote for him. Some delegates are unbound but are elected at their local conventions because they are strong supporters of a candidate. This means that the binding status of a delegate only become of importance if no candidate have reached an majority of delegates before the National Convention. If a candidate suspends his campaign the delegates allocated and/or elected to him may become unbound depending on state rules. Five delegations (#) have been penalized for breaking RNC election guidelines, meaning that their number of delegates have been cut in half and their party leaders have been banned from voting. Ten delegations (†) have chosen to bind their party leaders to the result of the allocating event instead of leaving them unbound.
