If California were close, I'd vote for Obama over Romney. Given that there's so little difference between the two, I'd take the one with only 4 years left as opposed to the one with up to 8.

Hmmm... I like it.

I've heard "Obamney" several times, but this is the first I've heard of "Robamney". Sounds like Robotic-Obama-Romney. Nice.

The thing we all need to remember is...

If Mitt Romney wins, in 2016 he will be the incumbant. To get someone better than him we will have to hope that a Democrat that is better than him will unseat him. Otherwise, we are stuck with him until 2021.

At least with Obama we can start now to put someone in there in 2016 who may have a chance to fix things.

If Mitt Romney wins...Ha! I'm sorry, I couldn't stop laughing after that! It's just not going to happen.

I'm thinking that too. If its Romney vs. Obama I might vote for Obama for this reason.

It depends on who Romney's running mate would be...

Personally, I would never vote for Obama. God forbid he gets to choose any more Supreme Court Justices. And getting rid of Eric Holder would be a bonus.

Vote Obama...the Republicans losing if Ron isn't their nominee has to be our priority in order to run Judge Nap or someone in the liberty mindset in 2016. It's emotion telling you NOBP...be rational guys.

But the "conservative" justices are all police statists.

At some point that's like voting for Stalin in 1922 because you are sure his policies will bankrupt the country. It only took until 1993. Seventy years of totalitarian communism? No thanks.

This is a stupid discussion for RPFs. For one it assumes a loss before all the votes are counted and is a negative distraction from doing what is necessary to win.

Secondly, the idea that insipid Mitt can beat Obama is laughable. No One But Paul can do that

2016 may be too late...the economy should have collapsed by then. That's why many folks in the forum were saying RP 2012 or bust.

Come on, don't betray the good doctor by voting Obama....that makes you no different than all of the brainwashed Obama supporters. After all the damage he has done, you were seriously considering rewarding him with your vote? In September 2008 Ron Paul encouraged his supporters to vote 3rd party for the general election

I'm going to vote for Ron Paul no matter what on Nov 6. If I write him in I will DEMAND my vote be counted, not tossed aside.

I'm voting Gary Johnson, but if a RP person lived in a swing state and it was close on election day I could justify pulling the lever for Obama. I want to get over the socialism as quick as possible, 2016 is our next chance.

The writing is on the wall. This country does not want freedom. We're not going to "get over the socialism" in this election, the next election, or any election.

If you want your freedom, eventually you're going to have to stop asking for it, and just take it.

Hannity said on his radio show today that Ron Paul is threatening a 3rd party run????Does he think that Romney will go 3rd party when we take over the convention and make Ron Paul the nominee? Is that what he's referring to?

Yeah, when Ron wins the GOP convention, Hannity and his ilk are going to split off and call the Ron Paul GOP a new third Party. They will call themselves the neo-GOP.

More discredit tactics. They want everyone to think we're losing. Um, were winning!

I honestly don't know where some of this comes from but Ron Paul's strategy is winning over the delegates. As RP has said why change in the middle of a race, it's working! Stu isnt short for stu....oh nevermind....

But can someone put a Ron Paul 2012 logo in place of the Vote LB at the bottom?, I want to use it as my signature pic on the many other forums I debate on.

Thanks.

Even though I can see the long term benefits of a potential lame-duck Obama second term, I don't see how anyone could justify actually voting for it.

I'll almost certainly vote thrid party but will leave the door open to the GOP if they get serious on the FED.
