Chipotle?

They are one of the better fast food restaurants, they buy locally, right?

@RT_America Hundreds picketing outside midtown Chipotle, singing immigrants' rights slogans #m1gs http://instagr.am/p/KF4tnQuOA2/"

From twitter.

I think they're mad because Chipotle only hires U.S. citizens because they got in trouble for not doing so before.

THey buy locally when they can, try to get free range organic meats, support sustainable farming methods. But ya know what those greedy bastard capitalist pigs also do? THey charge wayyy too much for a scoop of guacamole. Shut the pigs down.

Being serious for a second, I have a friend who's working his way up the management chain at chipotle and I gotta say they really are an outstanding company. My friend went from a $7/hour line cook to a 60k/year manager in about two years time by just working hard.

I really would if I could, but they're a few miles downtown and inbetween my drive-by-posts, I have 19 spreadsheets open.

That's outstanding, and it shows in their stock price ($400/sh + right now CMG).

Edit: Err I mean, your friend is now a bourgeoisie!

Ya, and maybe someday in the near future he'll get the backing to buy or open up his own store.

As a vegan, I <3 Chipolte -- They even told me not to get the pinto beans since they are sauteed in bacon :)

Black Beans
Brown Rice
Corn
Pico Salsa
Lettuce
Guacamole
= 6$ win

Free if you get veggie burrito

Qdoba charges for the quac even if you get w/o meat cheese and sour cream -- I caused a scene in the restaurant to say the least

Qdoba and Pancheros are much better burrito places. Solidarity!

I really like roasting Anahiem peppers and filling them with sausage, scrambled eggs, monteray jack cheese and mashed avacodo, and topping it off with my home made salsa. My favorite breakfast (yum, yum)

Try Freebirds if there is one nearby, I see they have them in Texas now.

I watched some restaurant show (I admit, I'll watch almost any cooking show, regardless of quality), where the owner of Chipotle was a judge of sorts and I really liked the fellow. If I could find a Chipotle, I'd go there.

I get bored or hungry watching cooking shows but I love "Good eats". I enjoy the background on what happens chemically while cooking.

Yeah, my favorite part too. It's kind of a refresher course for some basic chemistry.
