I just got this email in my personal email box, not through meetup. Anyone else get something similar? I don't want to click on the link so i put spaces between it to disable it. Also, look at the sender's email address? I X'd mine out but the sender's email is kinda fishy. This was in my spam box, for what its worth.

wait....
what is "scam" about it?

sounds like a club in NYC promoting a night to get a bunch of RP people out there.

it is even FREEEEEEEEEEEE with open to $10 donation.

as a clubber, partyer, raver, etc etc I know this is just a club trying to bring like minded people together.
What do they get out of it? Well a bunch of people in a club buy drinks. not real scam like
Thats it. Who ever is hosting it might be taken a downfall in funds. They have to pay out bar.

awesome idea, get a club packed with all supporters and the regulars that go there will be overwhelmed and ask questions.

AWESOME IDEA! and FREEEEEEEE so NOT a SCAM

again, not everything people on this board post are to be taken seriously.
This poster is thwarting a good idea.
intentionally or just uninformed?
i dont know.
