Here is my letter:
Dear sirs,
I would like to address an issue with you that I believe needs addressing. The RNC is asking Republicans to donate to the RNC to help them defeat the Democrats next November. I would like to state, uncategorically, that until the Republican party becomes the party of Barry Goldwater and Ronald Reagan, once again, that I will NEVER give a dime of my money to the party. I HAVE donated hundreds of dollars to the campaign of Ron Paul and I will donate more of my hard earned money to his campaign but until the leadership of the Republican party realizes that Ron Paul is the only candidate who has a chance at defeating Hillary or Obama in the general election for president next year, I cannot see myself giving any money to the RNC. I can tell you right now that I am not alone. Ron Paul supporters, by and large, are not natural Republicans but are instead, freedom loving Americans who have become Republicans in order to vote for Ron Paul in the primaries.
You have a GOLDEN opportunity at this point in time to abandon the large government and preemptive war philosophy that the Republican party has embraced and truly show the American people that yours is not a party to be reviled and shown complete contempt for. If you went out and canvassed with me, you would see (immediately) the look of revulsion that crosses the faces of people when you say the word "Republican". It is a sad sight and something that has been brought on by more than half a decade of unending war and big government policies.
You have an opportunity, at this time, to gain back the trust of the American people and the world, by backing the only anti-war, anti big government, candidate in either party. This is what America wants and unless you are willing to listen to the voice of the American people, you are doomed to catastrophic losses in next years elections. Please listen to the people and stop backing the policies of larger government and war without end.
