Huckabee has moved within 2 points of Romney. This is the poll that always seems to have McCain high. This is one of the polls being used as the criteria for who gets invited to the 12/4 debate in Iowa.

change scares people... But I just dont think they understand just how much things are going to change once the economy collapses, the world abandons the dollar as the international currency, china surpasses us as the worlds superpower, and people are forced to get off their la-z-boy and go work in all the new sweatshops just to be able to afford some bread.

The poll is probably not really getting many of the college students in Iowa who have cell phones. Ron Paul's support is higher than 3 percent.

ARG has a long history of bogus polling. No way McCain is in double-digits.

The Des Moines Register poll will tell us more.

What's the margin of error? Confidence interval? What are the "multipliers" they used to skew the actual results to be more in line with their perceived "reality"?

I notice these polls are increasingly reported without all the other information that statistically matters. Fuck you, Frank.

2 handwritten letters out to undecided Iowa voters telling them about RP, 18 more to go! Hope this has somewhat of an impact. Supposedly 3000 will be mailed.

It seems that something about ARG's method of polling has been depressing RP's numbers. His numbers are consistently low on ARG's polls regardless of the state. A few weeks ago, he got 1% in NH. The best I've seen him get from ARG was 4% in SC. You can see for yourself on pollster.com (click on "Rep" next to each state to see a list of polls from that state). http://www.pollster.com/08presidentialprimary.php

We just need to press the ignore button on these guys. They are a waste of our time.

These polls are worthless. Many of them don't even include Ron as a choice. And nearly all of them don't even include the NEW republicans in the poll.

Even the Des Moines register poll is worthless.

If you want to see who is winning, look at the overall straw polling victories in every state where romney didn't bus in thousands of people.

Ron paul is the popular vote.

Nexus, you spout unsubstantiated, counter-factual jibberish about scientific polls. Either learn what you're talking about and express that in your posts or stop spouting nonsense. For someone with so few posts, pretty much all we know about you, well, nevermind, if you can't say anything nice...

Bradley you spout vitriolic and inane blather.
They only call the old wave of republicans from the 2004 list(which is when most of the republican base ditched the party and swtiched to independent, like I did.

They are calling the "04 Republicans". Not the earlier ones WHO LEFT! This is why the polling is off and also because they leave Ron out of many of these phone polls anyway, so it's a double edged sword. The phone polls are totally inacurate as to what the american voter is actually going to do. Please wake up and buy some more neurons.

Polls are mediums of propaganda in order to persuade. Just learn some public relations.:D

ARG and FOX News' own polls always seem to have Paul ranked considerably lower than other polls. Wonder what's going on there?
