The city still would create a come-one, come-all protest area where demonstrators could be seen and heard at the Tampa Bay Times Forum.

Groups of 50 or more could apply for an all-day permit for parks inside the Event Zone. Originally, the proposed ordinance setting the rules would have put a 60-minute time limit on those assemblies.

Whatever.

Would that be the zone where HR 347 or whatever the number was now says if you are present and protest you can be thrown in jail?

The point isn't whether you and the mouse in your pocket are protesting or not. They are making it illegal for people to assemble as they choose in public, and banning otherwise lawful items. It's offensive.
