We need help getting signatures to get Ron Paul on the Ballot in NY.

Ron could get on the ballot through an administrative process which we filed for but we are being stonewalled.

We cannot take the risk of other candidates' people trying to keep us off the ballot. We have made the decision to gather about 7500, which is 50% over the minimum to get Ron on the Ballot.

If you can help gather signatures please email James at jameso@apollo3.com with a Cc: to me at Mike.McHugh@ronpaul2008.com

How is RP not a generally-recognized candidate? He qualifies for federal matching funds, is polling better everyday, has been in all of the debates, and raises more money than most of the Republican candidates.

They are going to do what they can to stonewall regardless.

Go NY!

I just got the email...well I know we got near 1000 members here in NYC so getting people together to get signatures shouldn't be a problem :)

Bump. Wow, not only are neocons trying hard to keep conservatives from re-taking they're party, they apparently don't want conservatives rejoining the party at all. Neocons=Idiots

What does "could get on the ballot through an administrative process which we filed for but we are being stonewalled" mean? Like the GOP refused to submit his name to be put on the ballot or something?

NY GOP has a history of keeping candidates off primary ballots whether it was Bob Dole in 1988 or Pat Buchanan in 1992. Buchanan's people had to go to court to get their on the NY ballot in 1996. They don't like competitive primaries.

Wow. No wonder Hillary and Rudy have been so successful there; the people of NY sound like they live for tyranny.

Well our state government here is a bit biased at keeping the competition away from Rudy and Hillary.

Hillary is our senator, so she has a lot of power in keeping Ron Paul off the ballot. Then you have Rudy who used to be NYC's mayor, so he has a lot of connections. So it's a bit biased here.

signing it isn't going to do - print copies and get them signed by others!! this is of critical importance. RALLY THE TROOPS!

Hey Primarily Paul--- I'm reposting your message as a comment on youtube videos. This one:

Ron Paul could raise $76 million dollars, have signs in every yard across America, and be winning in every single "scientific" poll, but none of it matters unless people actually vote in the primary.

Learn about your state's primary.
Register as a Republican if needed.
Vote in your state's primary.

Not Only Lew Rockwell, But NY Campaign Headquarters also confirmed Yes, he is on the Ballot. For those who wish to see w/ your own eyes, Jeff has posted it in the Messege board of the Albany group!

No signatures, we just need delegates now. we are missing about 20 in specific Congressional Districts.. Deadline is December 7th. I haven't gotten an update on this but have sent out personal emails to supporters who are just quietly hanging out on meetup. These actually are the lawyers and policemen and stuff. Good candidates for delegates. I'll post when we have the slates filled.
