I don't understand how most Iowans don't support the war, yet only 3% support Paul.

Remember also, Pat Robertson won Iowa one year and went no where after that.

Name recognition is the basic problem. But that's being solved right now because the camapaign is starting to run radio ads, TV ads and automated telephone calls in the state. RP is visiting Iowa this weekend. Statewide canvassing will begin in early December. Remember too this is a caucus not a primary so its hard to gauge depth of support and the ARG polls tend to skew heavily towards hardcore Republicans, undercounting RP's potential support.

Check the polls after Thanksgiving because that's when they really start to shape the race.

CRAP I told you guys Huckabee the fake and Giuliani the warmongerers are our biggest threats.. we need to launch a campign against them to help Paul...

Both Huck (pardon rapist) and Rudy have enough scandals against them.. we need to spread the word

Huck being #1 in Iowa means Rudy McRompson haven't guaranteed themselves the election. This is good for us as long as we can win NH and gain some traction in Iowa. And don't forget this isn't over yet, 100% of our people will be out to vote. 10% of theirs.

The campaign is really going to start in Iowa. Many political groups are just getting warmed up. Huck may not be up for long when voters here about his pro tax record.

The higher he climbs in Iowa the more attacks Huckabee is going to get on his record. Fine, let him take the hits from the other candidates and the Club for Growth. I like sneaking up on people.

my theory is that he's very strongly appealed to emotion rather than logic and he is surging based on shared values and his religious background.
