I'm a 22 year old college student in Washington State Chelan/Kittitas county. I'm not a delegate to the state convention (not for lack of trying... :/ )but what should I be doing to ensure future liberty candidates right now? What positions should I try to get in my State for the future of the movement? I just want to do something and get a head start on all these other establishment guys...

I'm not on the ground in Washington so I'll leave the local aspects to someone who's more qualified. However there's something you can be doing for the national race right now and that's Phone From Home. GOTV (as I'm sure you're already aware) is so vital to our efforts and with Santorum out is even more important now.
Hopefully someone will speak up with the local information you're after (and props to you for stepping up locally) but don't count your role in the national campaign out yet either! :)

Very wise!
Thanks for taking the initiative.
Phone from home. Connect with others both online and physically. Educate yourself about liberty and especially the constitution.

If you're ever in California on vacation or something, you can always temporarily help out and join a grassroots canvass effort. It's probably too far for you but I'm throwing it out there anyway given our deadline is coming soonish.

What are the dates for the Texas and California primaries? Just curious since those are our 2 big ones coming up.

Isn't Washington where the GOP leader wanted to punch Dr. Paul in the head? Maybe you could punch him in the head (jk!!) Seems to me that would be a good place to start, although I'm not sure we'd want the media coverage.

You're probably not going to know where your giong to live after school? If you knew that, getting involved with the local GOP in any capacity that you can would be a good start. However, if you don't know where you're going to live phone from home would potentially be the best bang for your buck time-wise.

Virginia's 3rd District Congressional Committee Chairman, Mr. Christopher Woodfin, also said he'd punch RP in the face.

Link to the nominating schedule. http://cvrp2012.com/delegates-primarycaucus-dates/

Note: list is a touch out of date, Texas should now read Tuesday 29 May 2012. Also worth reiterating is that TX is an Open & Proportional state.

Are you a PCO? If not. Run for PCO. Registration is next month. Check the Sec State website for specific filing info.
