This is great - a discussion about monetary policy/inflation/commodities. Pretty deep for the average listener but delicious. More after the break...

Podcast will be posted this afternoon on WHO site.

After the break a caller (who was obviously a supporter of another candidate trying to torpedo RP) said he liked RP on the spending stuff but called him Mad Master or something silly like that and said he was wrong for 3 reasons: Wouldn't have intervened in Terry Schiavo case, wouldn't stop gay marriage, and is in bed with the left on the war.

RP said cases like Schiavo should be handled by families and their doctors, not the gov't. He said we don't go to war without a declaration and talked about GWB's modest foreign policy promises, etc.

He didn't get to address the gay marriage issue - ran into a hard commercial break.

Nice free advertising but wish he had more time.

He got a nice slam in on the federal courts and Roe vs Wade.

It's picking up. TV and radio commercials are running and I've had automated calls from Ron and Carol. RP will be in Cedar Rapids and Iowa City Saturday.

We're still way behind and more volunteers are needed. The campaign says people can call Iowa HQ at 1-888-828-PAUL if they want to make calls to Iowans.

They're planning some big door-to-door literature drops and need workers from all over to come and help out. Check the Iowa page on the main campaign site.

A friend just told me that Ron Paul is winning the online poll at www.whoradio.com (http://www.whoradio.com) with 41% of the vote. More spammers?
