I'm registered with the Constitution Party, but when I checked my voting status, it still says a ballot is being sent to me for the republican primary.

Just to be safe, I would re-register as a Republican. It will probably take less than 3 minutes to do it online.

Yea, you're going to need to re-register as a Republican.

http://www.oregonlive.com/politics/index.ssf/2012/02/oregon_republican_party_opens.html

Oregon Republican Chairman Allen Alley said the party will allow these voters to cast ballots in the primary races for attorney general, secretary of state and treasurer. However, non-affiliated voters won't be allowed to vote in the presidential primary, in legislative primaries or in any partisan races for local office.

You may want to make sure your ballot will include the Republican Presidential primary. You can call your County Elections Office tomorrow and let them know that you just registered as a Republican and want to confirm that you will be receiving a ballot that will include the Republican Presidential race.

Bump for reminder of the May 15 primary. I sent out my absentee ballot.

Also you can vote Delia Lopez (adopted Ron Paul's platform) in the Congressional Primary. She won the primary in 2010 but lost the general election. To be honest I'm not even sure she's running again in 2012 as I see no indication on her website of any updates since 2010, but if you want to cast a protest vote she'd be the perfect candidate http://www.dlopezforcongress.com/

Incumbent Representative Greg Walden is running unopposed for Oregon's 2nd Congressional District in the Republican primary. He supports the NDAA.

For an alternative, write-in Ron Paul activist DREW LAMB on your ballot.

Yes, she is running and she's even asking Democrats to write her in for the Dem Primary. She's active on Facebook, and her blog: http://dlopezforcongress.blogspot.com/

The guy running against her in the Primary does not sound good at all. From the Oregonian: "3rd District Republicans should take a close look at TriMet bus driver Ron Green, who's running on a platform of higher tariffs to protect American jobs -- what he calls a traditional McKinley Republican position."

On his website he says "But, I also added that I considered myself more a Lincoln, Teddy Roosevelt Republican" And "ending foreign trade helps everyone."

And they call Ron isolationist.
