Citing Ron Paul Operative

http://www.examiner.com/article/king-county-gop-s-lori-sotelo-disrupts-caucus-citing-ron-paul-operative

After the caucus commenced at 9 a.m., there was a nomination from the floor to elect prominent policymaking activist and community leader Tamra Smilanich to be the permanent chair of the caucus. She won by a majority of the vote.

Shortly thereafter, King County Republican Party Chairwoman Lori Sotelo announced that the caucus was to be adjourned, claiming that Smilanich was an 'operative' of the Ron Paul campaign and that she had 'taken over' the caucus. The electing of Smilanich to be the permanent chair turned the event into a Ron Paul campaign meeting instead of an official GOP caucus, according to Sotelo.

She wasn't able to adjourn the caucus but what an embarassment to the King County GOP.

Is there seriously a list compiled somewhere of all the "Liberty Villains" we've encountered in this election cycle? Off-hand Charlie Webster & Eugene Dokes are on there and now this woman is too, but I know there are others (that guy in Washington caught on hidden camera for example). Can we make an exhaustive list of these enemies to Freedom?

Ya Lori Sotelo is famous for election rigging from last election cycle. She is a total *!@#%. And this is not an overstatement. She is the reason I was worried about King County, but fortunately this time around our support is strong enough to make her bite the dust.

She's the King County GOP Chairwoman, elected by PCOs in the county. This is why it's extremely important to become voting members of your County GOP so we can elect Chairmen that are fair.

There are instructions on how to do it for several states here but it doesn't seem to get much traction:

Lori Sotello is chairman of the King Co. GOP. a big position here. they apparently want to be seen in a better light nationally because she doesn't give a fuck about us small gov't folks. similar thing happened prior to our caucuses when i heard a gal that works with Lori S tell people that she will not have ron paul people elected as delegates in her district.... she referred to them as "blue republicans."

i hate Lori's newsletter.

we have King Co. convention this Saturday but i'm not sure if there's anything planned. there should be....

edit: after watching the youtube i can't help but be embarassed for this dumbass broad.

this is the county where they unilaterally appointed PCOs (automatic delegates) in violation of the rules and were challenged by the campaign. I wonder what is going to happen about that.

It is also the county where they 'accidentally' got a hall too small and instead of convening outside turned 1000 caucusers away on voting day.

The examiner.com recently released an article regarding some shenanigans in King County's 37 precinct convention. I found it through a post by someone on Ben Swann's Facebook. Basically, when a Ron Paul supporter won election to the chair, the King County chairperson, Lori Sotelo began crowing about insurance. She freely admits that the Republican Party rented the building, so why is she making the chair show proof of insurance? Then she claimed this is not a Ron Paul campaign event and that the caucus could only go on for about ten more minutes unless the the Ron Paul Campaign showed a rental agreement for the facility and insurance. She claimed the elected chair (Tamra) was a Ron Paul operative, despite responses from the crowd that she was unpaid. That appears to the be only evidence that a caucus somehow turned into a campaign event. Funny, if Mitt Romney won do you think she'd claim it was a Ron Paul event? According to the article, the caucus moved outside. The video only contains three minutes though.

The link to the examiner and the video are located below.

Frankly, this isn't the first time this woman has engaged in suspicious behavior in King County according to an opinion piece at the Seattle Times. There, Lori Sotelo allegedly attempted to disenfranchise Democrats with allegedly false allegations of voter fraud. She claimed a whole apartment building was empty despite proof to the alternative. Allegedly something similar was done in Ohio (or at least that's the implication in Ohio). A quick internet search does not provide any evidence or non-evidence of Sotelo residing anywhere but King County. A link to the opinion piece is provided below.

The Regan Wing blog suggests this may not be an isolated incident. Only one caucus could Ron Paul people set up without being harassed, sometimes with alleged "lies". A link to that has been provided as well. No proof is provided of a top-down order.

In response to this, I would recommend that all Ron Paul supporters from this precinct keep their voter registration cards for awhile. There is a remote challenge Sotelo may challenge the results or prevent people from paying delegate fees at the county convention. Paying fees is now available online for those who must. The link posted on Sotelo's twitter is posted below. It is the same link as the county GOP website.

Yea, around December, King County had probably 25% of their PCO positions vacant. I hope we have a really good ground game this time to make sure we have a supporter running for PCO in every precinct. The candidate filing period begins April 30 so there's not much time left to organize. It would be a shame to do so well in caucus states but not get our supporters elected into County or State GOP positions.

a few days ago somebody suggested making a "deck of cards" like the US had for "terrorists". only they would be enemies of liberty, such as this low life that we can help to not ever be elected again.

This election tomorrow is for PCOs only. Which I happen to be. We have about 3-5 people that I know as part of Campaign for Liberty that are going to be running. I don't anticipate many of them winning. But we'll see what happens.

Actually participating in my local GOP party for the past 5 months or so has helped put into perspective why the traditional Republicans see us as crazy or infiltrators. We won the entirety of my LD, but I think out of 14 people showing up to the monthly meetings only two to three of us are Liberty guys, and one that I definitely knew from the campaign came off as bat-shit anarcho-crazy. And then the Campaign for Liberty mailings that were sent out to rally supporters claimed falsehoods like "the $20 fee to participate in this Saturday's election is an illegal poll tax."

Really? An Illegal Poll Tax for a private meeting at a space the Party had to pay for? The party leadership then sent out counter-mailings to ALL of their members spouting this obvious fact and how looney C4L sounded and to take that into account during the election.

Great job guys. I'll update you all tomorrow. Hopefully this is a lesson to tone down our rhetoric.

To be fair, they also tried claiming that the fee to vote in the caucus was mandatory as well (protip: it wasn't) and with lori sotello stealing the money from that one convention that she shut down....

Also, Anarchists aren't batshit crazy. Let's tone down your rhetoric shall we?
