I suppose only Mundane's dogs deserve instant death by gunshot for even appearing like they might possibly bite a cop.

Fuck's sake...

And if this dog goes and fucks up some hapless Mundane, we know who will get the blame.

Sherwood police dog's bite sends officer to emergency room

A Sherwood police officer went to the emergency room Thursday after he was bitten by the department's police dog.

Azi, a 3-year-old German shepherd, bit the officer at about 4 p.m. at the department's headquarters, 20495 S.W. Borchers Dr., said Capt. Jim Reed. The officer, who is not the dog's handler, was treated at the hospital then returned home.

Azi, who Reed confirmed also "nipped" Police Chief Jeff Groth on the nose last year, went home Thursday with his handler. Reed said Friday the department is still investigating what triggered the bite and has not made any decisions about what to do next.

Azi arrived in Portland in June and began working with his handler, Officer Corey Jentzsch, two months later. After completing six weeks of training and certification, the duo began working at the end of October.

Azi is the first K-9 dog Sherwood has had since 2006. A decade ago, Sherwood had two police dogs, but both were medically retired. The department didn't have money to replace them, but last spring, a resident donated money to restart the K-9 program.

Capt. Mark Daniel, who is a former K-9 handler himself, viewed videos of four dogs and picked Azi immediately because he noted how Azi kept his nose to the ground.

Smelling is a police dog's No. 1 trait, Daniel said, and Azi also appeared confident and stable.

Gotta remember to use alcohol to get the weed smell off your fingers before you try to pet the K-9.

Damn potheads forget everything. :D
