It is a CLOSED primary so make sure your friend checks to see if he is a registered Republican.

The last day to register Republican is May 8.

In person early voting begins May 8 (no need to wait until June 5 to vote). You don't need an excuse to vote early in person at your County Clerk (locations here (http://www.sos.state.nm.us/sos-CClerk.html)).
