What is the best site for online petitions where I can capture address, phone number, and e-mail, preferably for free?

blatant, much?
I was thinking we should circulate petitions as part of the civil liberties money bomb promotion effort, against NDAA, Patriot Act, HR 347 (if I have that number right) etc, and I do know one benefit it gives is contact information, as well as demonstrating support for repeal. All the same.....
I think we must be one, and DP from all the people who post them here/there... :p
dunno otherwise, but Alexa rankings might help. Downsize DC?
reddit? (but not if you say 'this is a petition to capture your email address, for free')

This is an awesome idea!
I could setup individual pages for major issues (NDAA, CISPA) on the Rise for Liberty web site and allow people to sign and share the petitions, then email them on Moneybomb day as a put up or shut up.

blatant, much? That's what petitions are good for, capturing information so as to build your lists.

Perhaps others do not see it that way. And perhaps others will read this and no longer participate in said petitions so as not to have their information "captured."

Matt-- I use change.org (http://www.change.org/) to find/create/sign petitions. Its a definite liberal leaning site, and you'll get tons of liberal/environmentalist emails if you sign up for their newsletter, but it is a great petition interface, and I recommend it.

Change.org (http://Change.org) is ok, but it is kinda associated with progressive politics.
ThePetitionSite.com (http://ThePetitionSite.com) is also ok.
Both of those require name, email, and physical address.
I do not know of a site that requires a phone number.
Good luck with your data-mining.

That is not only NOT what most people see petitions being for...but unless you explicitly tell someone you are going to take their phone number...it is ILLEGAL to do so. Political campaigns may be exempt from the Do Not Call List...but not grassroots campaign.
You could find yourself facing a fine that is a lot bigger than any ChipIn could help you pay off. (This is why sites don't require phone numbers in the first place. And if you created a petition that asked for it, you can expect to get FAR fewer signers.
