Since not a lot of people know about it, is it ever considered fridge and tinfoil to talk about Ron Paul's opposition of the NAU? Any demographic is fair game?

No matter how serious the threat really is, I don't think it's a good idea to try to win people over by talking about the NAU when they haven't heard of it before. It will sound "fringe and tinfoil" to use your words.

My personal opinion is that right now, the more subtle influence and power of the corporatists is a far bigger threat than the actual NAU.

When I talk to people about it I ask "So what do you think of the North American Union idea?" They typical blank stare response allows for talking the pros (few- maybe easier border crossing) and cons (many) of it to educate them on the SPP, etc. Works much better than acting like its some big secret (its not) by saying "Have you heard about the NAU?" or similar.

Give it a try, it's actually a lot of fun. :)
