Does anyone know how much it costs to get Ron on the "2wenty" or one of the other pre-movie avertisements? It seems to me that this would be a great form of reaching voters in the key states. I supposed you could also reach the older target audiences by putting the advertisement in a movie that the older generation would watch. It would be great if we could do this in Iowa! Looking for feedback on this.

go ahead and call your local theater(s) for some pricing :)

please search, this has alread been discussed months ago.. not sure if someone ever did it.. BUT, if you want to do this..

HEAD IT UP AND PLAN and DEVELOP the IDEA.

I am serious. we have a ton of great ideas here but only a few who will actually implement.

IF many of us actually realized how easy it is to actually 'implment' our ideas, everyone would be doing this.

I think its a good idea.

Ok, this is brilliant.
How come I didn't think of this??? I've heard these ads are NOT that expensive considering the captive audience. Whoa... ok I need to go get some numbers to call for tomorrow.

If searching doesn't work, just go to the movies early some day. They always flash the number for advertising on the screen quite a few times.

the theater will be MORE than happy to provide you with a quote for advertising, believe me :)

just have to pick up the phone, call and find out!

Where do you think the best place to concentrate the effort is? My vote would be Iowa...After I get some kind of general consensus I'll call some of the corresponding theaters in the area.

I personally hate all the ads that come before movies, because they're doing so many of them now. Simply doing an ad might turn people off to the candidate.

We're not talking about during "previews", but before the lights go off, prior to the start of the movie, while people are waiting for the movie to start... You know, when they play the trivia questions and such.

Exactly...see what you come up with for numbers. Ill check it out too. We'd have to break it down to a cost per person that would see that ad. We can just append this thread so that it gains some momentum.

Funny!. I like it for the younger crowd, I would like to see it deliver more information...since they are captive and all. I think the ads that just flash on the screen might be pretty economical....we'll see!

very attractive. Ill probabaly be calling theaters in the area seeing about whether they will allow political ads

Just a note, with freeplaymusic.com, you do need to license it despite it being free to use.
