I am no spy. I frequently post over on http://ronpaul.meetup.com/boards. I just figured I'd venture over here and create an account to expand the reach of the poll. I'll start contributing here too. :-)

You didn't include any possible choices for most people. I consider myself a Libertarian but you do not have that choice and there isn't another one that I can vote for.

I sincerely hope not. I am NOT a Huckabee fan by any stretch of the imagination and I hope someone isn't using my name over there. Hey, what are you doing on Huckabee forums?!

definitely need to expand that poll for Libertarian, Constitutionalist, there are Greens here also.

Me, I'm a Republican with a tendency to vote for 3rd party candidates.

I have no loyalty to any party. I register as whatever party my preferred candidate belongs to.

I don't think you can have a poll of Ron Paul supporters without including Libertarians.

Don't feed the troll, people. This pollster is a.k.a. JeffBoste / PollM. His company is Youpolls.com He'll probably sign up under another name again, so be on the look out.

Before I found out about RP, I was a die-hard Democrat and hardline economic interventionist, just like Michael Moore. I still trust elected politicians slightly more than I trust unelected businessmen, but I've moved so far away from where I was that the me of six months ago would have called the me of today a Capitalist pig. He'd be right too! :D

Good to hear. Just remember, as far as businessmen and politicians go--politicians get to steal your money, businessmen have to earn it (unless, of course, they get help from the politicians).

I really think that, right there, is the key to "converting" economic interventionists. Emphasize the difference between corporatism and capitalism, and how we have the former today, not the latter.

Okay, I caught onto this guy at Dailypaul.com where he posted nothing but polls as "PollM". They all pointed at "Youpolls.com" - a site with a protected [hidden] registrant. I posted a warning about "PollM" both here and at Dailypaul.com and he stopped posting, only to be replaced by "JeffBoste" - a guy that followed the same pattern in pointing to "Youpolls.com" I then posted a warning about "JeffBoste". JeffBoste recently posted a poll at Dailypaul.com asking "What party do you consider yourself." Surprise, surprise, "Twinturbomike" pops up here with a thread of the same name - featuring the same poll at Youpolls.com

If you want more, just Google their user names. You'll find his polls popping up at various sites. eg. PollM
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/users/profile/PollM
[His recent posts alone consist of over 30 polls.]
Use the search function on this forum with PollM to see a list of polls he created.
Jeffboste - colbertnation 4 posts[3 polls]
ronpaulforums.com - 7 posts - [3 polls]
twinturbomike - (a new ID) - two posts [1 poll].
