Was a crowd of 65,000 where Romney was trying to spout off how he was the greatest defender of the 2nd amendment..

Would have been a PERFECT opportunity for Dr. Paul to showcase that he is the only candidate that has a flawless record when it comes to defending our 2nd amendment rights.

No he wasn't there. I listened to some of it on Patriot radio. NRA has just become a bunch of lobbyists. GOA is the true 2nd amendment group, and we have their blessing.

What kathy88 said.

The NRA has sold itself out. They are not to be trusted. Big crowd or not, it's up to us to get the word out about Dr. Paul's stance on the 2nd amendment.

The Gun Owners of America (GOA) is where it's at now, and they love Ron Paul.

Their front page has a Ron Paul quote at the top:

IMO, Paul didn't have much to gain by going to that meeting. The NRA has previously given him an A+ on gun owner's rights. Romney is the one who needs to convince them that he supports the second amendment despite signing gun control laws when he was governor. And if the folks at the NRA meeting can't take 5 minutes to look up both Paul and Romney's history on the issue, they aren't going to be won over anyhow.
