Facing a $4.5 million-and-growing debt from his flailing campaign, Newt Gingrich is now offering to rent out his 194,000-name campaign donor list for up to $26,000, reports Politico.
The price depends on how many names are shared, according to the article. Gingrich is charging $135 for each 1,000 names rented, and more if specific donor levels or geographic areas are targeted. Politico calculates that each time the full lists are rented, it could rake in between $19,000 and $26,000 for the campaign, after subtracting for the broker’s commission of typically 10% to 20%.
