Here's an idea to give Paul more attention that won't cost money (at least not directly) but could have an impact. There are over 1,100 meetup groups all over the country. It is a fact that the media has not given Dr. Paul attention on a level comparable with his rivals, even after the Nov. 5 successful drive. With his numbers above Huckabee and Thompson and tied with McCain in at least one of the early states of Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada, there is no reason he is not mentioned regularly in the media as a serious candidate.

How about we pick one day, and have Paul supporters go down to media outlets, with a message of why are you ignoring one of the major presidential candidates? Have people go down to the offices of ABC, NBC, CBS, CNN, New York Times, Washington Post, Washington Times, local affiliate stations, local papers, etc. Basically have Ron Paul supporters there, in person, all over the country for the whole day. If we have people that work nights, or late shift/early shifts, etc. we could have people in front of all the media outlets all day long. It would be a major story if we were everywhere, all the New York offices, DC offices, L.A., Atlanta, basically every media outlet would be reporting the story. It would be a show of force for how big Paul's campaign is OFFLINE and also deliver a message that the mainstream media cannot deny. They need to pay more attention to Ron Paul.

We still need to get his name recognition up, and this would be a great way to do it. We just need to pick a day (Mon to Fri).

We could also promote the Tea Party with this event as well.

Yes, and in unison read the constitution. More of an impact I would think.

I don't think irate crowds outside media-offices will help Ron Paul.

but no, it is proverbial middle finger to the MSM... but that doesn't win votes or DELEGATES

If we are going to have a nation-wide event, make it be something fun like a 1,000 meetup group sign-wave rather than a nation-wide complaint to the media about how we don't get enough coverage. Before the meetup each group can contact local media. Therefore, we'll get 1,000 instances of media coverage assuming the best.

If you want to get media attention with the meetup groups, a charitable drive is the best route. Food drive or walk-a-thon to raise money for some good cause (other than Dr. Paul's candidacy) would be a route to take.

yeah, lets be honest, we have too many national projects going on to focus on this. It ill never take off. and more importantly we need to focus on delegates and getting people registered. deadlines are coming!

couldn't this help with getting people in meetup groups everywhere in the country get registered as delegates?
