Thank God. I feel much safer now. I'm so proud to be in a country that scrutinizes and stretches its peoples tax dollars by the most efficient means possible.

On a more cereal matter; is this yet another foot stone towards Ag-21?

And people thought I was nuts for saying that Officer Friendly would show up at your door for using prohibited light bulbs and toilets.

They'll be rooting around in your garbage as well.

Yes, yes it is.

"Appropriate enforcement mechanisms" are in written into any UN treaty.

Massachusetts, where all that is not prohibited, is required, has had green cops for years, harassing and raising hell with everybody from boaters to snowmobilers.

So now, the feds will co-ordinate with Green Fusion Centers, for another layer of control over everybody's life.

Great. In a sane world, the first thing on their agenda would be eliminating depleted uranium from our military. Of course, they'd rather jerk off instead of fixing real environmental problems caused by our federal government. Instead they blame the people, who hardly contribute to the mess in reality. WTF!?

Oh thank God..........We're all safer now that federal tax dollars are allocated. (snark)

My county sent me a letter yesterday stating that if I wanted curbside recycling I would have to start paying for it,$6.25/Mo.No pay,no pickup.I never used it when it was "free",so people like me sure ain't gonna sign up and some feel good types who did it ain't gonna pay for it.We will see how long it remains voluntary.I bet the fee never goes down.

Good luck.

It won't be "voluntary" for long.

There will be "green cops" picking through your trash to ensure "compliance".

Oh, yeah and to send to the appropriate LE agencies for further investigation and prosecution for whatever else they may find while rummaging around in your trash.

So, if you have a troublesome neighbour, and you go for a late night stroll drinking a can of Pepsi past your neighbour's trash, you get to watch a swat team the next morning at your neighbour's house, kewl!
