We have ONE DAY left to get Josh Tolley to New York! (matching thread)

Folks, I am happy to report that we have raised $529.72 in a mere three days! Unfortunately, we have tapped out ALL of our offline donation sources and we are STILL $248.28 short of our plane ticket to get nationally syndicated radio host Josh Tolley to come speak at a TEA Party rally in front of 1,000+ registered GOP voters! At the pace we have been going we will come up about 75 dollars short, so for today I am going to match every 5 donations of $20 with a $20 donation of my own until we get there. This way we need only TEN DONORS of 20 dollars to reach our goal!

Newt Gingrich has former gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino coming to speak on his behalf, and if we are going to compete with him we NEED a speaker of our own, merely having a table at the event will not do! Josh Tolley is a fantastic orator and has millions of listeners, he is the person we need to make our pitch to NY GOP voters!


The official campaign has given us no help in NY so we are 100% reliant on grassroots to make things like this happen. RPF has opened their heart and wallet to us the last couple of days to help us get here, but now we need you guys more then ever to push us over the top!

UPDATE: Well, that was MUCH quicker then I thought. I have found a flight for $619 roundtrip! With our $170 in offline funds, we have been able to drop the ticker back to $470 (only because 20 of the 170 has yet to be collected so I cannot officially count it. We are now NINETY PERCENT of the way to our goal!

Well, I have run into the issue that I cannot contribute with my paypal account for the issue that I am using that account to fund this, so I am gonna go ahead and take my 20 off the total. We are now 94% of the way there with our 190 in offline cash!

This has been an amazing experience, the online grassroots and local grassroots here in Ithaca/Watkins Glen teamed up to really put together something important. I will make sure to have somebody there taking pictures so I can upload them after the rally!
