Anybody Excited for the New HBO Comedy "Veep" ?

Can't say I'd heard of it until now, but it looks like first episode comes out in about a week or so.

So I saw the first one. It was mostly kinda boring, not a whole lot actually happening but it did have a few funny moments. It was almost like Seinfeld, being about "nothing" because the job of Veep is relatively unimportant, but not as funny.

I think it has potential if the writing gets better and they come up with better situations.

The reviews all seemed to say the first episode was pretty good.

I've seen all the episodes. Its watchable, but not great. The one thing I like about it is they demostrate how little the VP does. It much more accurate than that show "The West Wing" which tried to brainwash people into thinking the president actually did something.

Looks like another show that is gonna tell us the country is screwed up, but because it isn't leftist enough.
