I have offen heard that NSA and Microsoft worked together on things:

But I recently heard that the NEW Microsoft Kinect for the X-Box may now be used to spy on Americans as well and the instructions of the Kinect say so therefore in the eyes of the law because you had put it in your house, and if the Kinect that records your voice and watches your movements catches you doing something wrong it could be used against you or worse.

And I don't trust Kinect or even built in web cams for that matter. Reminds me to much of telescreens in 1984. And I am a bit on the paranoid side of things. Better safe than sorry.
