One reason government should fear its people—when the ruling class has blatantly disregarded the people’s Rights—is that those who have had everything taken from them, and feel there’s nothing left to lose, make for a focused and determined group. As the abuse of government power over the population becomes more egregious and widespread, the call for reformist measures grows louder and more frequent from those who suffer the most. When this movement against the status quo of the established authority feels oppressed enough, the backlash of a revolution is inevitable.

Government has a legal monopoly on the use of force and should not misuse it to extort business into conforming with political agendas. Yet, this is exactly what is happening in America’s current system of corporatist government and global military policing. The emperors of ancient Rome learned that they could control the masses with bread and circuses, expand their parasitical empire through preemptive military conquest, keep the established aristocracy appeased with political favors of power and money, and get away with it all as long as the image of Rome as the shining example of power and prosperity was not seriously challenged; all of this, even as Rome tried to secretly debase their own currency. The childish materialism and willingness of Romans to exchange their commodities of intrinsic value for fleeting indulgences and perishable luxuries from other countries came back to haunt them in their fall from grace. Although this corrupt system of government projected a convincing illusion of an unchallengeable Roman Empire in perpetuity, Romans did eventually find out that their false sense of security was a foundational aspect of their demise. At what seemed to be the height of their prestige, Rome’s leaders decided everything was going so well that the good times must never end, even if it meant the policies of protectionism adopted to sustain their wealth and power ran contrary to the Rights of the people. It was a wrong-headed approach for the Romans, and it is a wrong-headed approach for Americans.
The very idea of protectionist policies being used to bail out banks and large corporations should reek so offensively in the nose of every freedom loving capitalist American, that no one would ever take such an asinine idea seriously. Yet, George W. Bush and Barack Hussein Obama have both openly assaulted the fundamental pillars of a prosperous economy built by free people. Nothing and nobody are “too big to fail,” and government bailouts of private industry is a radical government intrusion rivaling the ignorance and belligerence of Nazi Germany and Communist Russia.
The central authority we call our Federal Government is essentially rolling back the principles on which America’s founders built this great nation. In The Declaration of Independence, Thomas Jefferson wrote our founding principles in their natural order of priority—“Life, Liberty, and The Pursuit Of Happiness” (as Jefferson took inspiration for this line from earlier Enlightenment philosophical writings, some suggest this could have as well said ‘Property’). Government rolls back freedom and steals these irrevocable Rights in reverse; they take your property, deny your liberties, then snuff out your life. This is a road which has been travelled by many great nations and ‘invincible’ world empires down through history, time after time after time. America is no exception.
But, there is good news—some of us will not see the country we love so dear be swallowed up without a struggle, and the fires of this Liberty movement are now such that if the government sends us to hell, then the revolution will happen there. We have no more reservations in the face of such great evil and tyrannical despotism. When it comes to defending our liberty, it’s a no-holds-barred fight to the finish.
While we were naively asleep, blissfully ignorant, or just too trusting of our government leaders, the Republicrats have used Socialism as a cloak to sneak Fascism in through the American government’s back door. The Republican and Democratic Parties alike don’t want voters wandering off their respective, proverbial reservations. The truth is, they have really just become two fields of dishonor on the same blighted reservation. They play language games accusing libertarians and Ron Paul supporters of being everything from “dirt-worshipping leftist hippies” by neo-conservatives, to “dangerous right-wing racists” by liberals. Once again, the truth is that it’s the progressives in both major parties who have consummated their politically incestuous relationship as Republicrats who are diametrically opposed to America’s founders and the ideals for which they bled, and to the sovereign Republic the founders attempted to perpetuate for us with the governmental cornerstone, the Constitution. Call me what you will, but I’m an individual who no longer gives a shit about leaving the reservation. More good news—I am not alone. Other veterans are also sick of American service members being used as cannon fodder for a reckless foreign policy propagated by liars, thieves, and fools. Young people are awake to the fact that they are slaves to the federal debt and their government isn’t seriously discussing how to become solvent again.
An article like this one is just the tip of the blowback iceberg that is coming to our radical, run amok government. The political class of national leaders should take note of the history of Rome and other Empires. Have they not heard of Spartacus and the slave rebellion? Has it been so long since Nat Turner’s rebellion in our own American history? True, these were real slaves in the sense that they were actually treated as property, owned and disposed of by their masters. What we have today in the form of debt slavery is government ownership of the people by indirect means, yet no less a moral injustice. Whereas the abolitionists of the pre-Civil War era were interested in directly ending the ownership of one individual over another in which slave owners could literally direct the labor force on a personal level, the modern-day abolitionist is interested in ending the Federal Reserve Bank, which indirectly owns us all through manipulation of the money (property) we earn as the product of our labor. This government sanctioned, private banking cartel is a force-protected monopoly of the power to adjust value by dictatorial decree instead of allowing the freedom of universal and objective laws of nature, and Adam Smith’s “invisible hand” analogy of the free market. The same God-given Natural Law, which extends to us the inalienable Right to our own lives, also gives us the Right to Liberty and ownership of property which precedes any claim to the fruits of our labor by governments. Once again, government intervention into the honest and peaceful affairs of individuals is an unjustifiable encroachment on human conscience. Ultimately, I am the one who has to live with the consequences of my decisions, and the government has no right to take those choices of conscience from me.
I used to have some reservations as to whether or not America needed another revolution—but no more. As someone who has sworn a solemn oath to the Constitution, I cannot in good conscience sit quietly by as the country I love, and wish to leave in a state of freedom for my children and children’s children, is destroyed by subversives in both major political parties. If they won’t show leadership in rallying America back to the Constitution and the Liberty it provides, then grassroots patriots and sons and daughters of Liberty all over this country will rise to defend our Rights.

More and more Americans and patriotic veteran volunteers are speaking out about the truth we see, plain and clear, every day. We see through the propaganda and lies, and we’ve had enough of our political leaders using service members as cannon fodder for unconstitutional wars. We are sick and tired of good men and women in uniform being used to enforce a dangerous and foolhardy foreign policy of unjust global military conquest. Enough with the ‘us’ vs. ‘them’ bullshit; fighting ‘them’ ‘over there’ does not keep ‘them’ from coming ‘over here.’ Quite to the contrary, our perpetual overseas military occupations compels ‘them’ to grow bolder and evermore radical in ‘their’ resentments of America, and to channel ‘their’ anger into revenge ‘over here.’ If some dipshit nincompoop like Rick Santorum draws us into WWIII by engaging in something as foolish as a preemptive war with Iran, the blood of millions will be on his hands.
The danger of a chicken-hawk warmonger like Santorum being in power is that his foolhardy escalation of global conflict could literally and permanently ruin the experiment in freedom, peace, and prosperity that is America. Unfortunately, the ominous trajectory of our current, deeply flawed, and failed foreign policy would seem to be no better served by another status quo Romney, Gingrich, or one more Obama administration; it’s just that Santorum’s venomous diarrhea mouth may accomplish the one feat the Muslim world has failed to achieve thus far—to unite the entire Muslim world and its allies against one common enemy: The United States of America.
An overstretched American military, spread throughout the world, and a bankrupt economy can only mean one thing—the end of the American dream, the land of the free and the home of the brave. That is the day on which we may no longer be able to hold back the floodgates of people who will be seeking to dispose of America’s political leaders, in much the same way as we recently saw happen with Libyan leader Col. Muammar al-Gaddafi. As sick as it would make many like me, who want only peaceful and nonviolent reforms, I’m afraid that too many of the American people would have no reservations about staging a violent revolution.
We cannot let it get to that point. We must bring about the needed reforms to restore our sovereign Constitutional Republic to peace and prosperity, while there is still time for change without bloodshed. If we take the message of Thomas Jefferson and the Founders, and couple it with the method of Martin Luther King Jr. and the Civil Rights movement, we can have the nonviolent revolution America needs. But, it is time to dispense with excuses. It is time for no more reservations.
