Mike Huckabee new 3-hr radio show begins Monday

On Monday, former Arkansas governor and one-time Republican presidential candidate Mike Huckabee will launch a three-hour radio program on almost 200 stations across the country, going voice-to-voice with Limbaugh in the noon-to-3 p.m. time slot, Monday through Friday.

“Our tagline is, ‘More conversation, less confrontation’,” Huckabee told POLITICO. “I’m going to treat every guest with respect and civility. Nobody is going to come on and get into a shouting match with me. That’s just not my style.”

Just thought I'd throw this out there to anyone who might want to call into the show. And I'll give Huckabee credit where it's due - he does act respectably when it comes to talking and listening.

How could they fail to recognize that the musical acts and visual aspect of his 1 hour FNC program covered for him being a boring speaker. I do not see his success there translating to a daily 3 hour radio program.

I give it 3 months until stations start dropping out of syndication and 6 months until the end of syndication.

Regardless of what anyone believes about Rush at least he is an entertaining speaker and people can find common ground. It is quite laughable if they think Huckabee can compete with Rush or eventually replace him.

Eh. If he entertains some callers from our point of view, it might be good. But if course they know that they can't let our views and arguments seep into the mainstream because that is when they lose control.

Everything he's doing is positioning and early campaigning.
