Wait, she keeps saying only 1000 showed up to Berkley? I thought it was 8K?

Mary corrects her, watch it :)

She kinda did, except she didn't know the number either. Even RT purposely minimizes the Dr.'s turnout. Are the other media outlets even reporting these turnouts?
It was good though that Mary caught her...

Give us a time or it didn't happen.:)

P.S. I was just kidding but I went back to check the video out and it looks like shots of the crowd where misplaced or something.

San Jose Mercury reported 1,000. I was there and it seemed like about 2,000. John Tate just said it was 8,500 in an email on behalf of the campaign. I don't know where they are getting that number from. I don't think it helps our motivation to get false information like this.

The numbers for UC Berkley and UCLA seem to be getting bounced around/swapped a lot. At least that's my take on it. Mary seems to have a pretty good line on it tho :)

EDIT: Yep, just checked it and it seems like they just swapped the locations by mistake

On Thursday, over 8,500 people came to hear Dr. Paul speak at UC-Berkeley.
On the Tuesday and Wednesday before that, Dr. Paul attracted crowds of more than 6,000 at UCLA and over 6,200 at Cal State – Chico!

Doesn't seem like a "swap" to me since the numbers were: (approx.):

Cal state Chico 5,200
UCLA 6,500
U.C. Berkeley ~2,000

hum, all of those are on the low side of what I've heard from various sources

Either way the basic message remains the same :)

Maybe I'm wrong. The lady being interviewed in the OP video said UCLA was "anywhere between 6 and 7 thousand."

The campaign says Chico State U. was 6,200. I think I was confusing this with the turnout at the University of Wisconsin which was 5,200 I believe.

What looks like Chico State's school paper said it was far less, even with an upwardly revised estimate (see very bottom of article):

And the campaign says Berkeley was 8,500. I must say this latter one seems flagrantly inaccurate.

My understanding is that UCLA was 8500+.
