I convinced the campaign to start selling car door magnets!

At the end of September, I purchased some grassroots 12 x 24 Hope for America car door magnets. I picked up a load for my Meetup Group. Anyways, after seeing how effective the magnets really were and realizing that more people wanted some, I sent the campaign a plea:


Ron Paul 2008,

I know from first hand experience with my Meetup Group that there is a
HUGE demand for car magnets. I'm mainly referring to 24 x 12 car door
magnets. You could offer the blue and white versions like you do with
the yard signs. In addition, maybe you could offer bumper magnets which
would be the same as the blue and white bumper stickers, just in
magnetic form. Bumper stickers are great, but nothing screams Ron Paul
like a 24 x 12 magnet on two car doors! I know that there a few magnets
available from third parties, but they are usually VERY expensive. If
I'm going to spend a lot for them, I'd rather pay the campaign store for
them so it at least counts as a donation.

Good news at long last…

I have just placed a mega order for car door magnets. Two sizes. You'll see
them up on the official store in 2-3 weeks.

Great idea. I know personally, people are much more likely to put on magnets than they are stickers. It took me a while to even get a bumper sticker on my car. I didn't want to ruin my paint job, ya know? There's two stickers on my car now, but I'll get some magnets too and and skap them on my car for sure.

I've had magnets on the sides of my vehicle for the past few weeks and they are GREAT. People really notice them.
