2012 Republican Presidential candidate Ron Paul attracted a peculiar 8,500-plus voters to the third of three town hall meetings he held in California this week, this time at UC-Berkeley. In drawing such a huge crowd to Berkeley, the 12-term Congressman from Texas shattered his unrivaled town hall meeting attendance record.

At similar events held yesterday and Tuesday, respectively, Dr. Paul drew remarkable crowds of 6,200-plus voters to Cal State – Chico, and 6,000-plus at UCLA.

Ron Paul’s college campus town hall meeting took place at 7:00 p.m. PST at UC-Berkeley’s Memorial Glade, where he addressed the crowd from atop the steps of Doe Library, Berkeley, CA 94720.

:)

We need CAL, winning a big state like that at the end of the cycle (along with couple of other wins hopefully :)) will counter the "unelectable" label as well as it will remain more fresh in people's minds & we'll seem to have the momentum going into Tampa! Not to mention, doing well in a Dem-state is always a good thing to say that you're more likely to compete & beat Obama :)

Here's a good angle showing how many people attended:

I was at the event in Berkeley.
The media is saying there was 1200 at best :( That is a blatant lie!
Although I don't agree with the media's numbers (big surprise), I don't know if I would say there was 8500...
I have some pictures, but none of them do justice because of my angle. I will be posting some of them tomorrow, and there are some already posted in the UC Berkeley thread.

He's only been limited by the limited seating of his engagements.
Liberty expands to fill whatever space it encounters.
He'll be filling NFL stadiums before the end of the year!
