Ron Paul close to ONE MILLION 'LIKES' on FACEBOOK

Currently we are at 927,530 likes on Facebook. Lets get over that million mark!

I've brought it up before. I'll re-emphasize it. The Ron Paul Facebook has to have an effective and consistent Social Media Marketing strategy in order to increase the page "likes."

There should be several articles, charts, graphs, pictures, YouTube clips, etc posted on a consistent basis. There should be several posts per day, with emphasis on peak times. The Ron Paul twitter and YouTube accounts should be linked. Articles/blogs on ronpaul2012 should be pushed to the Facebook page.

On January 18, 2012, Ron Paul posted a status update about the dangers of SOPA. This was the day reddit went dark, google had a "blacked out" banner, etc. The status update received over 8K "shares" and his new page "likes" were averaging about 1000 PER HOUR! That day was a great example of effective Social Media Marketing. Take a big event that is current and in everyone's face and react to it quickly.

We can't get his page to 1 million ourselves. He has to turn allow others administer the page with him. According to Doug Wead, this won't happen.
