I thought it was a waste of time after this thread got to the second page but just like this campaign when you think its not going to make it, it surprises you and exceeds your wildest expectations. Thanks a lot, comments like this help me believe that I set up my video right. I wanted the video to be a stark contrast between how messed up everything really is and how we can change it. I think to many Ron Paul videos just point out how great Ron Paul is which is great for rallying the base but I don't think it helps to win everyone over. Not to say some of those type of Ron Paul videos aren't fantastic, because they are. Stop dreaming may be my favorite Ron video.

It is sad to see how messed up the other candidates really are and the state of the country. I had a lot of footage I wanted to put into the first part but I didn't have room. I couldn't get to the federal reserve, Rumsfeld, Cheney, wiretapping and a host of other disturbing issues. I do know however that the distaste of the Iraq war is becoming more universal and it is the greatest chance Paul has to really grow his base. Thats why I hit there and hit hard. As long as liberals see this and realize that Obama and Hillary aren't going to fix Iraq they will come to Pauls by the thousands. Just keep pumping this video if you can. I want to get on the front page of digg :) . And please post this video anywhere you see fit, I don't care about the credit I just want it to be seen.

Along with the war, I think another good technique for "converting" antiwar Democrats would be to point out that Ron Paul wouldn't interfere with any socialist schemes at the state level. Also point out that right now, blue states are forced to heavily subsidize red states with their tax dollars, and after Ron Paul stops this, those tax dollars can stay in their own states. Add to this Ron Paul's consistent support for civil liberties and you should have a new Paul supporter.

Oh and establishment Republicans hate Ron Paul. Why not give them the finger?

I pulled all of the video footage from youtube so some of it may not look much better in high res but atleast the quotes will be readable and I won't have to split the videos. Do you guys want me to remove some of the quotes at the end before I upload the version tomorrow? I will leave it up for the forum people to decide and do whatever the majority wants tomorrow.

I read some of this thread before watching, so I didn't even try to read the quotes at the end and listen to the speech at the same time. I listened first, then went back to read the quotes. Actually one or two of the quotes went by a little too fast for me even when I wasn't listening to the speech.
