Hi everyone,

My name is Jason Cannon, and in 5 years from now I will be 25 and old enough to run for House of Representatives. I do not plan on running as a Republican, because truthfully I despise the party. In fact I despise party politics in general, and that is why I have started a new facebook group, which I will eventually be building into a legitimate organization, called Americans against Party Politics (http://www.facebook.com/AmericansAgainstPartyPolitics)

If you, like me, are tired of the Two Party system, then I invite you to join us in moving forward. Right now, the group is small (Me and a few friends) but I hope that as the message spreads about the dangers of the two party oligarchy that more people step up and join and get involved. It is my goal to end the two party system, and I would love for you all to join and help.

What this page is not:

A place to call for Anarchy. While Anarchy is a valid political goal, and one that could very well work, it is not one that is aligned with the constitution.

A place for angry rants and raves. APP will eventually be the platform from which I, and other independent liberty minded individuals, will be able to launch political campaigns. We need this to be a place of serious and respectful discussion, so as not to harm to overall goal of the movement.

A place of free speech. Again this needs to be a place of respect and learning. Any hateful or "troll like" comments will be removed.

A "Pro Ron Paul" only place. While a majority of the members will most likely be Ron Paul supporters, I welcome people of all political beliefs (except for Party Schills) that means communists, and socialists are welcome as well. They don't have to agree with us on everything, as long as they agree with our movement to allow third parties a real shot at winning. Debate will be welcome about ideas, but keep it civil!

That being said, APP is:

A place for discussion and education. No matter who you are there are people who know both more and less than you do. APP is a place for open discussion about the issues. We will not agree about everything that is said, but we will allow it to be said (Unless it is hate filled or "trollish"). A socialist might try and debate and say Hayek was wrong and Keyens was right. That is OK, let them. You can debate back though.

A place for liberty minded individuals to launch campaigns. I want to see as many independents flood the ballots in the years to come.

A place for gathering and friendship. In order to take down the two parties, we must unite together. APP will be a place where people can gather together in uniting against our common enemy. Who knows, you might even 'like' people you don't agree with :)

So yeah, why not swing on by and click "Like"? http://www.facebook.com/AmericansAgainstPartyPolitics
