Napoleon would've loved the Tea Party; Might have equated Obama to Tsar Alexander.
See, I can make hedging statements about dead people thoughts too!

Rand would have likely hated the tea party since she was so anti-religion

I love Rand's works, but it seems like she hated just about everyone who didn't accept Objectivism to a T (and even then, it was only a matter of time until you'd be excommunicated for some other perceived flaw).

Gary Weiss just wrote a really misleading book trying to warn the left of Rand's prominence while trying to tear her down. I really can't trust anything he writes.

The Tea Party is all about government spending and over taxation (whatever that really means). The movement has nothing to do with religion, foreign policy or anything else. Tea Partiers might have their opinions on those issues but that has nothing to do with The Tea Party platform.

Meh, Ayn Rand doesn't have any influence over my beliefs. I find it disturbing that she is regarded as some great philosopher, I guess it's a sign of the times.
