Since when has a U.S. Congressman had the right to build an airport, and groundbreak it on land he does not even own. This article (http://www.nwitimes.com/news/local/illinois/chicago/jackson-wants-to-jump-start-peotone-airport-with-people-s/article_c7cb429f-05ce-537a-b45d-58ef2657b01e.html) details how Jackson wants to have a "people's groundbreaking" (yeah socialist sounding) for a 3rd Chicago Airport that locals don't even want. I grew up in this area, and Peotone is a special area full of rich farmland and friendly people. It's amazing the statist, democratic machine in Chicago would destroy this area to build an airport that might not ever even attract significant business. It just seems so un-american, framing this down peoples throats.
