Hays County Precinct Convention Locations
Precinct Conventions will be held according to 2010 Voting Precincts (pre-redistricting boundaries). Anyone who wishes to affiliate with the Republican Party may attend.

Precinct Conventions will be on March 27, 2012 beginning at 7:00 PM at the following locations:

Precincts 110, 111, 112, 113, 114, 116, 120 and 127:

I'm live in Hays, but am in Dallas at the moment and trying to get back home before 7pm so I can get there. Wish me luck that I don't get pulled over. Our precint chair is one of us. :)

The Dallas County Republican Party Executive Committee had a meeting March 19th where disinformation was spread around and false claims were made to convince the precinct chairs to vote to not have Precinct Conventions. I was at this meeting if anyone wants to have any more information about it.

It makes things much more confusing and much easier to railroad a convention.

Just make sure the people attending from your precinct are aware of the changes, and it seems like it should be fine. Around here the most confusing things are the unusual date (well before the primary) and the normal issues with understanding all the rules. Our precinct conventions are on the same day as SD elections which means I have to explain why everyone is staying for two conventions.

Good news - no one else showed up to my fiancee's precinct convention! That means she gets 100% of the delegate votes all to herself and is now the precinct chair. Winning! :)

I made it just in time. Drove 90 mph all the way from Dallas. Only me and one other retired gentleman and so we're both delegates and I'm the Secretary. Not sure if he's one of us or not, but I saw several known Ron Paulers in other pct. conventions. I'm feeling pretty good about it overall.

I know the results from two other precincts and both had good outcomes for Ron Paul. In one of the larger precincts we had 80% of the delegate votes and in a smaller one we earned 100%! All in all, I believe it was a very good night for the good doctor in Hays County. The delegate strategy is working!
