I just worry about recording laws with these. I know PA there are some requirements for consent from all parties...

Just found this link. http://www.citmedialaw.org/legal-guide/state-law-recording You may want to take a look at your state laws before investing in a cam.

So if you caught a murderer killing someone on camera... and you didn't get the murderer's consent, you can get sued? lol.

The law will not be consistent when it's a question of a group/public gathering. Also of note is that if there is fraud occurring the recordings don't have to be of evidentiary quality to be of importance. You can submit things to the local news/Ben Swann that you couldn't submit to a court.

Recording a political party function is not equal to wearing a wire into someones home.

FYI Pennsylvania:

Public Meetings

Recording devices are allowed in public meetings (i.e., meetings of a governmental body required to be open to the public by law) in Pennsylvania. Governmental bodies may adopt their own rules to maintain order at their meetings, but those rules may not include flat prohibitions on recording.
