I def made some mistakes at the caucus but I believe that America is about owning up to your mistakes and making things right. That means that all sides should be doing the same. I have found the most accurate report of what happened at our caucus. I hope you all take the time to read it. http://theblogczar.wordpress.com/2012/03/20/the-raucous-caucus-what-was-all-the-fuss-about-at-the-st-charles-county-missouri-caucus/

Jamie Allman posted this on his facebook wall:

I have been amused by many precious posts and nasty emails from STATIST Republicans who have an issue with passionate and long-time conservatives who have a problem with "The Caucus that wasn't one" in St. Charles County.

Memo to the statist Republicans: instead of treating Ron Paul supporters like intruders and interlopers and rabble rousers (and some of you tagging Romney supporters the same), you should be on your knees thanking them for even bothering to show up and speak out loudly for conservatism.

If it weren't for the passions of Ron Paul supporters, 2012 would be another red tie blue suit massacre that statist Republicans have been all to willing to accept in the past.

Ron Paul supporters, knowing the possibility that Paul is an unlikely eventual nominee, still came out in numbers no other candidate could match. For what? For hope. I'm talking about hope defined 235 years ago and not hope defined in Chicago 3 years ago.

That's passionate conservative money in the bank, you lunatics!

Why would anyone dismiss them, marginalize them, call them "Paulbots", plot to ace them out, call the police before they even walk in the door, and, worse, plan for their misrepresentation?

Ron Paul has been around a long time, but he has spawned a new generation of young and older and passionate conservatives no Romney, Gingrich or Santorum could ever create.

And yet, they are treated like crap. Dismissed. The GOP mall cops just don't want them around.

These statist Republicans in Missouri are still rubbing Bob Dole's belly thinking that will do it in 2012.

Shame on that.

More disheartening: tea party people piling on in the mass dismissal and smears. How can that be?

I was on the Glover show today and a woman called in chiding me for pursuing this issue saying those who were upset should have just allowed the Caucus to go as planned. What Caucus? that wasn't a Caucus. That was, in my opinion, a planned May crowning of a GOP prom king.

Hey, statist Republicans, knock yourself out.

But you ignore Ron Paul supporters and treat them like crap at your peril.
Romney, for all of his faults, will never be dumb enough to attempt a live burial of Ron Paul and his supporters--who, above all, have been tireless evangelizers for conservatism and who, in my opinion, will be a key to Republican victory.

Mainstream conservatives should be doing everything possible to embrace their ideals and their votes.

They sit out, you lose. You lose, your party is done.

Go Jamie!

I can't believe that weak excuse will pass for anything given the amount of clear audio and video footage we have!

pure cya they can't unilaterally create rules by posting them on a wall, they have to be voted in, and the voters voted their chair down. There WERE no rules against cameras.

I didn't read the entire self serving thing, did they post the rule to show people on that blog saying they could refuse to seat ANY delegate for ANY reason?

Or did they fail to brag about that one?

Patriots......Please click on the link below...an excellent non-biased opinion of exactly what took place on Saturday, March 17th at the St. Charles, Missouri Republican Caucus. Needless to say, I was there. Make no mistake, the people who LOST here were the INNOCENT VOTERS who came out to vote as an American Citizen.

View it and YOU decide.

http://theblogczar.wordpress.com/2012/03/20/the-raucous-caucus-what-was-all-the-fuss-about-at-the-st-charles-county-missouri-caucus/

As many of you know, I am a member of the Republican Central Committee and my thoughts about what REALLY happened here mostly agree with these findings. View the enclosed documents that were passed around at the caucus & then see if YOU might very well have been a confused caucus goer. I sure was!

It is not true that the Republican Central Committee were all pulling for Santorum. What is true is that EACH CANDIDATE had a STATE ORGANIZER for the PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE CAMPAIGN COMMITTEE ON THE REPUBLICAN CENTRAL COMMITTEE's CAUCUS COMMITTEE. Brent Stafford, Ron Pauls organizer at the state level and also a member of the SCCRCC, was angered at a meeting that took place sometime in October or so of last year.(I was there!) He got up, storming out and left the meeting that evening and has NEVER returned to any further meetings. He COULD HAVE BEEN on the Caucus Committee had he asked, however, he chose NOT to attend any meetings at all....he "left" his constituents in his township holding the proverbial bag!

There are some "party" solutions being discussed that are FAIR to all of the VOTER'S & the camps of our candidates as I type. I will advise further of the decisions made as soon as I know them. Since the final decisions will be directly given to the St. Charles County Republican Central Committee, they will NOT BE RUMORS....so please DISCARD anything that you hear or read for now. I will keep you posted as soon as I know.

The real blame here lies with the Governor who vetoed the Republican bill that would have made the Presidential Primary on February 7th a BINDING primary and would have reflected the vote of ALL of the voters. A "Voter ID" bill was also attached to it that the governor didn't like......so Gov. Nixon put his POLITICS over what was in the best interest of the citizens of Missouri. Many states have already passed laws for voter ID. (Holder now sueing Texas for their law!) ...and many states do NOT caucus simply because of all of the disruption & shenanigans that go on by BOTH PARTIES! These 2 bills were put together by the legislators hearing the voices of their constituents. I think the bills were a "bi-partisan" effort to boot!.

WE MUST NOW FOCUS on defending THE REPUBLIC OF THE UNITED STATES and VOTE OBAMA OUT! Any one of our candidates are better than Obama....but there are only 2 at present that can be nominated to represent the Party in the GENERAL election now due to the Delegate count! Let's get down to business & whoever wins the nomination, We MUST get behind them and support them OR OBAMA will win and we'll have 4 more years of "Conquer & Divide" of "We the People" by this over reaching administrtion!

God Bless America!

That article is some serious spin. Even comes with comments like:

The blog is well thought out. My complements to you for injecting reason into this mob situation.
The unruly mob, thinking they are Roberts Rules of Order experts, shot themselves in the foot by aparently setting into preplanning trying to get all delegates for themselves. Had they behaved, they could have had proportional delegates.

If Dokes is posting this link as 'what really happened' then he's just digging himself deeper.

Why should we have proportional delegates when we had a majority? When Santorum had a majority his people took the full slate at MO caucuses. Why wouldn't we?

“Dokes reiterated the importance of the rules and emphasized the ban on recording devices before pausing to implore a man in the bleachers to turn off his video camera or face arrest. When the man refused to put away his tripod-mounted camera, Dokes asked members of the St. Peters Police Department to arrest the man and escort him out of the building. That, of course, drew heated objections from members of the crowd — including Ron Paul supporters and others — who seemed to believe transparency should trump rules during the caucus.” •Largest MO Caucus Adjourns WITHOUT Conducting Business – No Delegates Selected

"...transparency should trump rules during the caucus"

WHAT and/or WHICH RULES?!

Thank you Paul supporters!!! THANK YOU!! :)

We didn't have a majority last Saturday, believe me, that if we do next time, we are taking all 147.

What? That blogger sucks. "TheBlogCzar"

Someone posts a reasonable comment about how video cameras provide for accountability:

In large measure, well done. But I have one thing to mention. The recording devices. (Big surprise, right? lol)
If the caucus goers HAD allowed the devices to be shut off until after the permanent chairman had been elected, who would have documented evidence of the railroading through of the man they called the “Chair”? With no recording devices, there is no accountability on the part of the “leadership”.

This is "theblogczar" responding to that comment:

Hyperbole: If I hadn’t held a gun to his head, he might of mugged and tried to murder me. If he had murdered me, no one would know what had happened. [my comment: WTF: Camera = gun???? What is this guy smoking?]

The argument would be that, prior to the invention of the video recorder, there was no such thing as ‘accountability’. That’s a false assumption. It’s pretty well understood that the known presence of a video camera changes the dynamics of people…particularly in a crowd.

My suggestion for a compromise would be that the press/media could have recording devices. If a person insisted on recording, they could have been given the option to remove themselves from the caucus and moved to the press/media area as a spectator.

lolwut? So someone there was gonna be like:

"I was gonna vote for Santorum but since I brought a video camera, 'the dynamics have changed', and I'm gonna vote for Ron Paul. Stupid video camera!!! Why u make me do this? Durrrr!!! Me no want Ron Paul. I hate you, video camera!"

My philosophy is that folks who won't arm themselves with guns should at least arm themselves with cameras. The recording device ranks, in my opinion, as one of the greatest inventions of all time.

Justin, thanks for keeping us updated from the front lines. +rep

How are you guys doing with assessing and being prepared to regroup? Where there be a larger Paul supporter turnout at the rescheduled caucus, if allowed?
