I have a question about earmarks. I have read on other forums about and news articles about accusations of Ron Paul requesting large amounts of money for his district in earmarks. I also read the 14 district is one of the biggest receipient of earmarks per capita since 1999 and Ron loads appropriations bills with earmarks for his district and then votes against them to receive the money, but give the appearance of voting against spending bills.

Now, I am a Ron Paul supporter and I am starting to research this in his defense for debate on another forum. I am sure there is a logical explanation and any guidance would be appreciated.

Thank you.

I dont think you understand what earmarks are. They're not the boogeyman they're made out to be. Do a YouTube search for "Ron Paul earmarks" and you should get a pretty good explanation by him on the subject.
