I took a look at the number of members here on Nov. 5 and it was just over 5000. Now we have around 6100!

I'm no math whiz but isn't that something like a 20% improvement in just a few weeks?

When I first started here there would be 100 members on at one time max. Now it's quite common to see 500 - 600.

Is RonPaulGraphs.com charting this?
If not they should be.

I'd be interested in knowing how much the number of active users has changed.

Mere total registrations probably aren't an accurate indicator of actual support, since people who don't actually support Ron Paul may register just to see what's going on, etc.

However, it seems that the number of active users has really shot up in the last month -- probably at a greater ratio than 5 : 6.

I'm a n00b.

A gracious welcome and thank you for joining Ibtz. :)

I and at least one other person I know of posted the pics of the USA Today ad
a couple of times on Myspace, and it went a bit viral..

and people were posting to send LL an email thank you, and then I posted
that they could come here and thank him as well, so, I hope a few signed up.

Lol, well personally I was at dailypaul only, then that got massive! And too hard for me to track my own comments really and the structure. So came here eventually, think its a natural progression.:D

And to think that about 3 weeks ago I thought Dr. Paul was just a nutty conspiratorial crank. I got whacked upside the head with the Constitution...that set me straight.

Welcome Ibtz and Conza88!

These are the 3rd and 4th welcomes I have given in the past 5 minutes ... yes, we are growing!

Yes, it's getting a little hard to follow all the posts and not miss anything important now because it's moving so fast. There's so much discussion and information, I can't take it all in. You have to go back to previous pages.

Yeah, I remember the old days of the forum when 250 people on a debate night was a busy time. The server would crash at about 300 or so and everyone used to get pissed. LOL

How things have changed.

805 on here @ 10 pm central time - thats unusual at this time of night on a non-dbate or money bomb type day.:D

I dont post much here, but believe me...I'm here ALL the time, much to my wife/kids dismay.

I used to be able to recognize the names of regular posters, and if you got on in the middle of the nite, maybe 30 people. Now it is 10x that. Pretty good indicator for Paul. As to the forums, you have to dig a little deeper to keep on top of hot topics since they aren't always front page in a section.

But it is really great to see this growth.

I lurked for about a week when I got wind of This November 5th. I've been posting like mad, if for no other reason than I'm used to being the political minority... but don't worry, I still realize the need to inform and convert people on the outside. ;)

What was it like last spring before anybody was paying attention?

Just wait till mid December.

I got whacked upside the head with the Constitution...that set me straight.

That's a novel approach. I may resort to that tactic for some of my harder-to-convince friends.

I love that quote! Funny and so true.

I lurked around here for a while before I became a member, and it used to be I could predict which members would be online and when.

I think it would be great if Forum activity was tracked on ronpaulgraphs.com.

I made this suggestion some time ago at the blog on that site, but I think it was lost in the shuffle.

If others agree, cold you make the suggestion to Dan?
