Holy Batman gas up again. $3.80 here in TN and we're usually quite mild compared to some states.
Wondering if this lends any credence to why we need to seriously look at the economy NOW. Dr. Paul is the only one who has any chance to fix the BS thats driving our economy into the ground. Fuel will significantly effect on us going forward. We have a very WEAK recovery with loads of unemployment still. Now throw on high gas prices. The market has a decent change of laying an egg this summer.
Higher gas prices = business profits down
Business profits down = more unemployment
More unemployment = more on the government teat
More suckled teats = Larger debt.
Larger Debt = game over.
I was talking with one of my wifes clients who is a NYSE trader. I asked him about how much debt this country could handle? He said we burned that bridge $5t ago.
