BEST DRAMA: CLOONEY ARRESTED

Following is commentary on Clooney's current and past compassion dramas when he really appears to be acting as a diversion agent to help dustract attention away from war crimes taking place as a result of tax payers funded occupations supported by groups like CFR.

Diversion artist Clooney strikes again as civilians massacre brings Afghan war to focus

By itself personal crusade for "children of Sudan" is a very noble pursuit for anyone who has compassion for suffering of others. But history and timing of Clooney doing media tours to attract attention to the suffering of "children in Sudan" to which US tax payers do not contribute will strike as peculiar to anyone who has been paying attention. His media compassion for Sudan campaigns often take place when a major US war crisis or civilian suffering is going on elsewhere in a war zone directly funded by US tax payers.

Having observed his past compassion media stunts like the one he did today, it always struck me as very odd that when hundreds of civilians including children were being slaughtered in Iraq on almost a daily basis, when Abu Ghraib abuse scandal came out or when Israel bombed to death/mutilation thousands of civilians/children in Lebanon and Gaza, why Clooney would go on TV to bring attention to plight of "children in Sudan" but never say a single word showing compassion for children of Iraq, Gaza, Lebanon suffering due to bombs being dropped that Clooney himself was paying for? You can try looking up, won't have much luck.

Now as Afghan war long vanished from national attention comes back to frontpage news after massacre of civilians (mostly children) last week and accused military sniper is being flown into US today, Clooney strikes once again by becoming top headline on Drudge by getting himself arrested for the cause of "children in Sudan" after having dinner with Obamas last night. He did similar stunts around peaks of Iraq war mayhem.

Afghan Massacre Suspect Heads to U.S.

Afghans burn an effigy depicting the U.S. following the killing of civilians in Panjwai, Kandahar by a U.S. soldier during a protest in Jalalabad, Afghanistan, March 13, 2012.
Speaking of the alleged killing spree, President Obama said Tuesday, "The United States takes this as seriously as if it were our own citizens and our own children who were murdered."

"The killing of innocent civilians is outrageous and it's unacceptable. It's not who we are as a country and it does not represent our military," he said.

Question arises, why has George Clooney been playing the diversion artist since the beginning of wars violence in Iraq almost a decade ago?

If he really cares about suffering of innocent people/children, why he has never uttered a single word or done a single deed to help suffering of children in Gaza, Iraq, Afghanistan that his tax dollars and campaign donations are directly funding?
Why did he never say a single word to condemn notorious war lobbies pimp Madelene Albright who he is allied with when she said this on TV?

Ask yourself these questions next time you see this war lobbies agent masquerading as "compassionate for children" diversion artist.

Not sure why media circus hypes him as a "celebrity", the guy has charisma of a stale donut.

He is somehow a bad person for not paying attention and getting involved in every crisis in the world? He has been putting considerable time and money into efforts to help people in Africa for some time now. It isn't always on the nightly news though. At least he does things besides going to parties saying how bad things are for people while eating caviar and drinking champagne.

Clooney, just back from the region, described how he secretly travelled across the border, came under rocket attack and witnessed death and destruction in the African countries, including a nine-year-old boy with his hands blown off.

"What we're looking at is a real disaster," Clooney told reporters before testifying at a Senate Foreign Relations Committee hearing in Washington.

Travelling with John Prendergast, co-founder of the advocacy group the Enough Project, Clooney filmed the hardship for a video shown to the committee and posted online just before his testimony.

Actor George Clooney Frustrated by U.S. War Drive

BERLIN (Reuters - 12 Feb) - American actor George Clooney stepped up his criticism of George W. Bush's administration on Sunday, saying he feared a war against Iraq was inevitable but would ultimately only lead to more violence.

"America's policies frustrate me," Clooney said in a German television program. "I think a war against Iraq is as unavoidable as it senseless. I think it's coming. But I also think the real danger is going to be what happens after it."

Clooney, who in interviews with European newspapers has accused Bush of war-mongering over Iraq, is on a growing list of Hollywood celebrities to speak out against war. Others include Sean Penn, Ed Harris, Dustin Hoffman, Madonna and director Spike Lee.

"You can't beat your enemy anymore through wars; instead you create an entire generation of people revenge-seeking," Clooney said in the ARD television program "Beckmann."

"These days it only matters who's in charge," Clooney said. "Right now that's us -- for a while at least. Our opponents are going to resort to car bombs and suicide attacks because they have no other way to win."

Clooney, 41, said Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld was making a mistake to think a war against Iraq would be an easy win for the United States.

"I believe he thinks this is a war that can be won, but there is no such thing anymore," said Clooney, who starred in a film about the 1991 Gulf War "Three Kings" that took a dark look at the war to drive Iraq out of Kuwait.

"We can't beat anyone anymore," added Clooney, who has called it unfair that Americans opposed to war are being branded unpatriotic.

Sounds like Ron Paul on blow-back.
