Hawaii Caucus - Secret Ballots? Really?

Explain this one to me. Just got done voting in Aiea, and they tell me that I'm supposed to tape my hawaii GOP registration to the envelope with the ballot and then put it in the box.

Is it just me, or do they want to categorize voters who register with them?

lol, they open up the ballot, see your vote for Ron and now they know your name and where you live...then you can put on a secret list...simple trick, I hope you didn't comply.

On the Big Island in Volcano area our procedure was:

Fill out 'Republican Club Card"

The help matched our name with our address using photo ID and took the Club Card

We were then given a piece of paper with the four candidates and a write in on it

We voted for all things decent and upright

We placed our ballot in the voting box orifice
