Pretty funny, sadly it is not a big exageration how intrusive the law has become.

It seems crazy but most states require people to wear a safety belt while in a moving vehicle.

Does that apply to Amish buggies? Or only motor vehicles?

I am not sure about safety belts but in my line of work and the area I live in, I encounter a lot of Amish people. I have heard many stories about ridiculous government regulations that have to meet just to drive a buggy,

I wish they'd find some clever (non-fanboyish) way to include Ron Paul in one of their episodes. Knowing how big their viewership is compared to people who follow politics, Ron's profile would be doubled overnight.

Only registered conveyances with the state. Otherwise you are free to go about your personal business. But you may be harassed occasionally. If you don't exercise your rights, you have none.

I never understood the reasoning behind seat belt laws. The only reason i can think of, is insurance companies are trying to save money, but then why not outlaw motorcycles? Its basically the same risk of being injured.

Why is Libya highlighted? It was never part of the British Empire. Same with Somaliland. And Namibia. And Minnesota. And Wisconsin. And North Dakota. And Montana. And Idaho.

Java shouldn't be highlighted either, it was captured by the British for only 3 years (1811-1814) and then returned to the Dutch.

Libya isn't highlighted, Namibia was apparently part of South Africa, and I have no idea about Somaliland.

Namibia was became a UN mandate administered by south Africa after WWI, it was never a part of the British Empire. Just like the mandates of Palestine and Transjordan, Tanganyika and the Solomon Isands. Papua New Guinea became a UN mandate as well administered by Australia. Legally none were ever part of the British Empire.

Woah, woah, woah, you're losing me there. I just wanted a big picture of my ancestors' previous big empire to flaunt my e-peen.

Technically the South African (British) government ruled over Namibia, right? Namibia is counted in all records of colonial rule that I have seen and used in every piece academic research of the size of the empire that I have seen. Don't make me cry.

They administered it in the name of the League of Nations/UN, but it was never legally part of south Africa or Britain. South Africa continued to rule Namibia as a colony until 1994 or so.

Oh man I'd LOVE to see them give Ron Paul a shout out! Aren't Parker and Stone Libertarians?

I can't stop laughing at this episode. :D

Main article: South Park Republican (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park_Republican)
While many conservatives have condemned the show for its vulgarity, a growing population of people who hold center-right (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Center-right) political beliefs, including teenagers and young adults, have embraced the show for its tendency to mock liberal (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liberalism) viewpoints and lampoon liberal celebrities and icons.[191] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-theadvocates-190) Political commentator (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pundit_(expert)) Andrew Sullivan (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrew_Sullivan) dubbed the group South Park Republicans (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park_Republican), or South Park conservatives.[14] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-cornell-13)[38] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-cityjournal-37)[192] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-refugees-191) Sullivan classified the group as "extremely skeptical of political correctness but also are socially liberal on many issues", though he says the phrase applied to them is meant to be more of a casual indication of beliefs than a strong partisan label.[14] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-cornell-13)[38] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-cityjournal-37) Brian C. Anderson (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_C._Anderson) describes the group as "generally characterized by holding strong libertarian (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Libertarianism) beliefs and rejecting more conservative social policy", and notes that although the show makes "wicked fun of conservatives", it is "at the forefront of a conservative revolt against liberal media".[191] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-theadvocates-190)

Parker and Stone downplay the show's alignment with any particular political affiliation, and deny having a political agenda when creating an episode.[34] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-mcfarland1-33)[192] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-refugees-191)[193] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-HP2010-192) The two claim the show's higher ratio of instances lampooning liberal orthodoxies stems simply from their preference to make fun of liberals more than conservatives.[14] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-cornell-13)[66] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-abc3-65) While Stone has been quoted saying "I hate conservatives, but I really fucking hate liberals", Stone and Parker have explained that their drive to lampoon a given target comes first from the target's insistence on telling other people how to behave.[162] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-gillespie-161) The duo explains that they perceive liberals as having both delusions of entitlement to remain free from satire, and a propensity to enforce political correctness while patronizing the citizens of Middle America (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Middle_America_(US)).[37] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-nytimesconserv-36)[38] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-cityjournal-37) Parker and Stone are uncomfortable with the idea of themselves or South Park being applied with any kind of partisan classification.[34] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-mcfarland1-33)[192] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-refugees-191) Parker said he rejects the "South Park Republican" and "South Park conservative" labels as a serious notion, feeling that either tag implies that one only adheres to strictly conservative or liberal viewpoints.[33] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-rs1-32)[191] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-theadvocates-190) Canadian columnist Jaime J. Weinman observes that the most die-hard conservatives who identified themselves as "South Park Republicans" began turning away from the label when the show ridiculed Republicans in the season nine (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park_(season_9)) (2005) episode "Best Friends Forever (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Best_Friends_Forever_(South_Park))".[7] (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/South_Park#cite_note-growsup2-6)
