Sad, but not surprising, that it has no cosponsors. I suppose we should be nagging the House Judiciary Committee to move this thing forward.

So sad that most people will never even know that there was an attempted impeachment of Obama unless this actually passes.

Fucking presstitutes.

He's not actually being impeached, just someone trying. Kucinich did the same for Bush. It'd be nice if one of them actually did, but the title is very misleading.

This is inconsistency on the part of House Republicans in the extreme. Bush did it TWICE, and there was nary a peep from them, but ZOMG when a black Democrat does it, all the sudden it's an impeachable offense.

Of course he should be impeached, he abused his power, but Bush should have been impeached as well! All we're asking for is some freakin' consistency!! Is that too much to freakin' ask Congress??? NO, it is NOT. Uphold your freakin' oaths you whiny pansies!

Rep. Walter Jones (R-N.C)

HCR 107 calls for the impeachment of Obama if he seeks international permission to go to war with Syria rather than a declaration of war from Congress.

Déjà Vu: Obama's Military Actions in Syria May Be Impeachable (http://thenewamerican.com/usnews/constitution/11139-deja-vu-obamas-military-actions-in-syria-may-be-impeachable)

Raven Clabough | The New American

On Wednesday, Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman General Martin Dempsey told the Senate Armed Services Committee that the Obama administration would seek “international permission” before engaging in war in Syria. Besides the possibility that it is merely a ruse — as there is growing evidence that the United States may already be covertly involved in Syria’s war — for the United States to seek permission from other nations to go to war is unconstitutional. For that reason, Representative Walter Jones (R-N.C.) has just introduced House Concurrent Resolution 107, calling for the impeachment of the President if he declares war without congressional approval.

Jones's resolution, which calls upon the U.S. House — with the Senate concurring — to prevent President Obama from starting yet another war without Congress declaring war. HCR 107 states (http://thomas.loc.gov/cgi-bin/query/z?c112:H.CON.RES.107:):

Expressing the sense of Congress that the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.

Whereas the cornerstone of the Republic is honoring Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution: Now, therefore, be it Resolved by the House of Representatives (the Senate concurring), That it is the sense of Congress that, except in response to an actual or imminent attack against the territory of the United States, the use of offensive military force by a President without prior and clear authorization of an Act of Congress violates Congress’s exclusive power to declare war under article I, section 8, clause 11 of the Constitution and therefore constitutes an impeachable high crime and misdemeanor under article II, section 4 of the Constitution.

The Obama administration has openly rejected the constitutional requirement of seeking congressional approval for U.S. military engagement.

If this was all over the media it would quickly turn into millions of people screaming for it to pass. So unless they were ignored, Obama would be impeached. So yes, the media are covering up Obama's impeachment.

No he wouldn't. Millions maybe as in 3 million out of a country of 309 million. Most people would think it was a joke.
