at an event like the Super Bowl via a 3RD Money bomb would be a great idea
and easily attainable.
Any ideas?

I've thought about it as well, but I think ads cost over 5,000,000 and it would be a bit late.

How about the Macy's Day Parade? Anybody know how much money it would take for an ad then?

But another event maybe,
Sports, American Idol, etc

American idol would be good, it would target the much lacking woman demographic which we have so many problems with.

I like the idea of an event ad...

One thing I thought of is instead of the Superbowl, how expensive would it be to get ads on earlier football playoff games? I mean... We KNOW the Pats are going to be in it :) so NH people will be watching en masse. :D

A single 30-second superbowl ad costs something like 2.5 million, and frankly I don't think its worth it at all. It's just not a day for politics.

American Idol is aways off, but I agree, it would be huge. I would imagine, so also is the advertising cost.

There are a lot of college bowl games that will be televised right before the Iowa caucuses. Must take advantage of those media opportunities.

Guys, let's not forget about the possibility of target ads in gun magazines, parent's magazines, homeschooling magazines, alternative med magazines, etc. Not to mention radio ads. The latter was one bit of advice that Buchanan had... to use radio a LOT.

if we did a Money Bomb with a commercial I definitely think the end of the commercial should link directly to the widget and show the donations realtime at the end of the commercial

Macy's Day Parade, that's all I'm saying.

NO. National advertising is a BAD IDEA unless it's on the nightly news, FOX News, CNN, MSNBC etc.

Remember VERY few people of the general population actually vote in the primaries. We need to seek these people out and target them,
