Tea Party split votes 50/50 with Romney and Santorum in Ohio.:(

So, do you get in with someone else or go it alone?

Tea Party is the same as "Conservatism" everyone that wants to be is automatically a member of it regardless of their views of government or policy. You really think those exit polls that show Romney getting around 50% of the conservative vote is actually true? No. When asked most people will say they associate with one party without even knowing what those principles are. Just to sound important when the media plays how 'the conservative votes' are the ones this candidate has to get. "Oh I want to be special i'm a conservative/tea party member and I voted for Mitt/Newt".

There is no tea party candidate, so they vote for what's left over.

The Tea Party used to be us. Then Dick Armey, Glenn Beck, Sarah Palin, and the Fox News Channel crew ushered in GOP establishment operatives to take it over. And they did, turning the Tea Party into the opposite of what it originally was.

Tea Party neocon wing is dead and run out of town since Obama's agencies started enhanced gropings of private parts of children, women and men. Liberty wing is growing stronger by the day.

The "Tea Party" was fully assimilated into the Borg Hive by the end of 2010.

It has ceased to exist as any functional independent entity.

I like the sound of "The Liberty Party".
Does not carry the baggage "The Libertarian Party" does.

So, carry on as an Individualist or form a new movement and may be infiltrated again?

Need to get a real tea party candidate that people can back. The tea party folks hated the choices available to them for various reasons. Ron was too old. Santorum was too much of a religious freak that rubberstamped big government policies. Romney had the Mass baggage. Gingrich is untrustable.

The GOP Tea Party was full of shit to begin with. Why are we caring if they aren't with us now?

28% of Ohio voters said that Ron Paul was not conservative enough, and 31% said he was too conservative.

Conclusion?

At least 59% of Ohio Republicans love the state.

Party of limited government my ass.
